HHBM is has a lot of work to do. The need for transcribed material is great, and the staff devotes much time, effort, and prayer to keep their work successful.

The main goals for HHBM are:

Transcribing and embossing Christian literature and hymnbooks into braille; making them available for the same cost as print versions

Preparing braille textbooks for all grade levels, including higher education;

Administering classes in braille transcription;

Conducting Braille Awareness presentations in schools, churches and other organizations.
